Despite speculation that the game originated hundreds of years ago in China, modern scholars agree that Mah Jong, also known as Mah-Jongg, was developed in the late 1800s. Cialis india Traditional sets used ivory or bone tiles, as pictured here; however, collectors could purchase plastic or wood tile sets at the height of the game’s popularity in the 1920s. Although the tiles bear a strong resemblance to dominoes, the game is actually more like modern rummy, and is traditionally played by four people.
